Córdoba- September 2010

In the fall of 2010 I went to Córdoba during a school holiday week to do a survey of the area’s amphibians.  I traveled and searched for critters with Andrea Paz and Carolina Ortiz-Villa, two members of Andrew Crawford’s lab at the Universidad de los Andes.  Important missing photo: the first amphisbaenian I had ever seen, a Typhlonectes natans!  I tried to catch it instead of getting a photo (despite standing right over it), but I successfully captured… neither.
